Abeigail "Abei" Gault age 87 of Danville passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Mitchells Nursing Home surrounded by her family
Abei was born December 12, 1936 in Danville, Arkansas to the late J.V. "Abe" & Lucy Weems Pledger. She was a member of the Danville Methodist Church and was the longest tenured member of the church and was a member of the Joe Ivey's Sunday School Class. She was a poultry farmer for Wayne Farms for many years.
She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. An avid sports fan, always rooting for her Little Johns, Razorbacks, or any team that her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren were a part of.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John Gault; and her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Gault, Boz Gault (Lonna Gae), and Nick Gault (Chasity); daughter, Andy James; grandchildren, Mistie Apalategui (Ossie), Shelbi Aerl, Ryan Gault (Kristina), John Gault, Katie Gault, Abby Gray (Caleb) and Austin James; great-grandchildren, Maysn "Booby" Apalategui, Laikynn Apalategui, Kenlyn Crisp, Tubby Bo Crisp and Kainaan Crisp; Jaxson Gault, Parker Gault and Rylan Gault; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be10:00 am Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Danville Methodist Church with Rev. Corey Conrad officiating. Visitation will 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, August 16, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Melvin Bottoms, Bobby Chambers, Tom Gilkey, Phillip Alexander, David Garner and Mike Novinger.
Honorary pallbearers include Johnny Chambers, Billy Donnell, and Joe Ivey's Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Danville Methodist church.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Administration and Staff of Mitchells Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of our mother.
