Albert Emerson, age 62 of Lamar, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born August 15, 1959 in Benton, Arkansas to Charles Raines Emerson and Martha Jane Carter. Albert was a Captain on  the Little Rock Fire Department and he loved to hunt and fish and he was a competitive cyclist. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Emerson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Lori; mother, Martha and Jack Gregg; children, Andrew Emerson, Kevin Moore, Kara Moore; granddaughter, Avery Grace Moore; his in-laws, Don and Edie Tuggle; his fire family, Little Rock Fire Department and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Dardanelle Assembly of God Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fallen Firefighters Memorial Program.
