Albert Lee Henson age 85 of Dardanelle, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026 at his home. He was born September 6, 1940 in Cave Creek, Arkansas to the late James William Henson Sr. and Nancy McCutcheon Henson. He was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ and the River Valley Gun Club. He was an avid shooter and he loved hunting. Albert loved spending time in his cabin in the mountains in Newton County. He was a God fearing man and he loved his church family.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Vernell Sullivan; brothers, JW Henson Jr., Robert Henson, Junior Henson, Doyle Henson and a grandson, Lance Tyler Barnes.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ann Easter Henson; two children, Sheila Travis (Tim), Kevin Henson (Melinda); grandchildren, Mark Barnes, Blake Barnes, Garrett Henson, Megan Duvall and great grandchildren, Addi Duvall, Branch Duvall, Stella Duvall, Eli Barnes, Xio Barnes, Xena Barnes, Daniel Ramirez, Alina Henson and Rustin Henson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M., Thursday at the Dardanelle Church of Christ with Bro. Mark Auten officiating. Burial will be in McCutcheon Cemetery in Bass, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Mark Barnes, Blake Barnes, Megan Duvall, Garrett Henson, Dalton Duvall and Branch Duvall.
