Alice Jenkins Alice Loretta Butler "Rains" Jenkins age 65 of Dardanelle died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at her home. She was born March 5, 1949 at Roswell, New Mexico to the late Woodrow and Myrtle Lee Black Rains. She loved yard work and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Wayne Butler; two brothers, Cecil Rains, Bill Rains; three sisters, Louise Waldell, Geneva Christian and Vivian Rush. Survivors include her husband, Joe Jenkins of Dardanelle; three children, Ronnie Butler and wife Teri of Lamar, Stormy Davis and husband Perry of Clarksville, Misty Shepard and husband Doug of Tennessee; one step daughter, Joanna Jenkins of Dardanelle; one brother, Mike Rains of Texas; three sisters, Jo Day Mixon of Lamar, Norma Rose of Texas, Lorine Jones of Lamar; seven grandchildren; one step grandson and five great grandchildren. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home and River Valley Cremations in Dardanelle.
