Obituary

Allene Shockley age 95 of Danville, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born May 12, 1930 in Dover, Arkansas to the late Oscar Miller and Cordelia Standridge Miller. Allene was a member of the Mt. George Church of Christ and she loved gardening, working outside in her flower garden, cooking and canning. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George E. Shockley and her siblings, Bernice Ketcherside, Alma Morris, her twin sister, Pauline Underwood, Juanita Hendrix, Reba Hunter, Wilma Dean Hurst, Herbert Miller, Jim Miller and Bill Miller.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Heather McLeod (Clayton); sister-in-law, Rena Miller and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Mt. George Church of Christ. Visitation will be held Friday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Terry Miller, Brad Miller, Travis Sanders, Shandall Sanders, Clayton McLeod and Don Hurst.
