Alma Lea Boggs age 80 of Danville, Arkansas departed this life Friday October 4, 2019.

Alma was born January 5, 1939 in College Mound, Texas to the late Eltinge &Vera Woodring. Alma worked for the Park City Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas and also worked for the Buckner Baptist Orphanage. She enjoyed reading her Bible Devotionals and working with various Baptist Organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Billy Boggs; brother, Harold R. Woodring; brother-in-law, Coy H. Smith; nephews; Eddie & Don Smith, and great-niece; Samantha Harper Hale.

Alma is survived by step-children, Brenda Boggs-Swicegood, Linda Boggs-Higgins (Ken), Ed Boggs (Kathy); sister Betty J. Woodring- Smith; nieces; Anita Harper (Elden) of Rover, Kathy Moore of Texas; nephew; Craig Woodring of Texas; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and many great -nieces and great- nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Joyce Stokes for being Alma's Caregiver for many years.

Pallbearers include; Tommy Hale, Travis Hale, Bob Harper, Elden Harper, Jacob Higgins, Bobby Swicegood.

Honorary Pallbearers include; The staffs of, Mitchell's Nursing Home and Chambers Memorial Hospital.

Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Sandlin Cemetery in Ola, with Bro. Al Ray Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home.
