It is with deep sorrow and love that we the family of Alma Irene (Middleton) Sliter announce her passing peacefully in her sleep on February 5, 2022 in Dardanelle, Arkansas at the age of 97 years. Alma was born on February 24, 1924 in Denmark, Arkansas to Cleddy Everett and Clemzora (Roberson) Middleton.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: James (Becky) Sliter of LaPaz, Indiana and Danny (Lilly) Sliter of Dardanelle, Arkansas. Her grandchildren: Rex Kaiser, Brenda McNeal (Tony), Lori Scheiber, Teresa Kaiser, Shena Sliter, Melody Yopp (Jay), Connie Moore, James Wilson, Leonda Sliter, Treva LaRoe (Troy), Danelle Sadawi, her 16 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years (Carl W. Sliter), son (Charles Sliter) and daughter (Mary Lou Kaiser).

Though the day may be darker without your light, our hearts shine brighter with your love.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Assembly of God Church in Centerville with Bro. Jeremy Bull officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Ringer Cemetery.

Masks are required during the service.
