Amy Jeanette Hughes, age 54 of Delaware passed away Friday, March 7, 2025. She was born July 23, 1970 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to the late Walter Eugene Blair and Anne Jewell Blair. She loved gardening, reading, crocheting, volunteering at the food bank, and defending her iPhone 7. Amy was in three book clubs, a gardening club, a member of the TOPS diet club, and an exercise club called Glam Squad. She was also in Women's Auxiliary at church and was a Sunday school teacher. Amy was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Carter Nuckols.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Brent Hughes; five children, Amber Cross (Bob Lawson), Amanda Russell (Damon), Aaron Hughes (Emily), Allison Ortiz (Joseph), Adam Hughes; one brother, Donnie Blair; one sister, Genie Blair; special sister-in-law, Wanda Blair; grandchildren, Brookelynn, Carter, Darci, Kolson, Bentley, Dayton, Grady, Rylan, Reed, Layla, Cooper, Brynn, Denton, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle with Daniel Conditt officiating.
