Anna Jewell Barton Hunt, 77 of Ola, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. She was born November 2, 1934, in Gravelly, Arkansas to Samie and Leona Sledge Adcock. She retired as a cook for the Yell County Nursing Home in Ola. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children, Rhoda and Paul Dussex of Sherwood, Arkansas, Glen and Terry Barton of Lebanon, Oregon; three grandchildren, Keith and Angela Smallwood, Matthew Dussex, and Andrew Dussex; two great-grandchildren, Alec and Lexi Smallwood; a brother, Harold Adcock of Plainview; three sisters, Linda Short of Hot Springs Village, Youtha Graham of Plainview, and Mary Lazenby of Plainview. Graveside services were held Saturday, May 26th at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Briggsville. Arrangements were under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
