Annie Laura Fowler age 79 of Danville passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Mitchells Nursing Home. Annie was born January 17, 1936 in Catahoula, LA. To the late Basil & Ollie Paul Scarborough. She was a member of the Rover Baptist Church. She was preceded in husband, James L. Fowler; brothers David Scarborough, Bruce Scarborough and Huey Scarborough; sisters Lucille Tolbert, Evelyn Ballew and Alton Marie Allen. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Janell Fowler of Rover; daughters-in-law, Barbara & Stanley Denton of Mt. George; Carolyn & Michael Jones of Mt. George; brothers, A.C. Scarborough of Abline, TX.; Randolph Scarborough of Ablilne, TX.; sisters, Mamie & Glen Corder of Ranger; five grandson, one granddaughter, six great-grandson and five great-granddaughters; several nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Rover Baptist Church will Rev. Keith Shipley & Rev. Robert Harrison. Burial will be at Mt. George Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, December 7, at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Donnie Fowler, Jackie Fowler, Mitchell Jones, James Denton, Zackery Lee, Robert Fowler and Johnny Fowler.
