Annie Thompson Annie Bell Thompson age 92 of Dardanelle died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at her home. She was born July 16, 1920 at Atkins to the late Benny and Clara Williamson. She was a member of the Sweet Home Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Edward Thompson; three sons, Henry Lee Thompson, Phillip Thompson, Larry Joe Thompson; three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her children, Helen McLean of Freeport, NY, Robert Thompson Sr , Shirley Wise both of Fort Smith, Chester Thompson of Dardanelle, Kenneth L. Thompson Sr of Russellville, Marvin Thompson, Darrell Thompson both of Fort Smith; a sister, Louise Barbee of Arlington, TX; thirty nine grandchildren; eighty one great grandchildren and twenty three great great grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Thursday, June 20 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Marvin Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Home Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Tyrone Thompson, Tim Freeman, Edward Lee Thompson-Ellingberg, Marvin A.
