Tony Alvey

Anthony Charles Alvey Sr. "Tony", age 88 of Ola died Monday, March 14, 2015 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born October 18, 1927 at Oppelo to the late Joseph and Julia Hoyt Alvey. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Jessie Alvey, JoAnn Alvey; brothers, Lawrence, Andrew, Maurice and Jerome Alvey; one sister, Celestine Alvey and one son, Anthony Charles Alvey Jr.

Survivors include his sons, Joe Alvey (Judy Ann) of Dardanelle, John Alvey of Ola, Benny Alvey of Prescott; daughters, Sharlene Whitted (Robert) of Ola, Tyna Newell (Rickey) of Hector; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Birta Cemetery with Bro. David Hudson officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will grandsons and great grandsons.
