Archie Clevell Riddle, age 80, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, October 12, 2026.

He was born February 8, 1946, in Danville, Arkansas, to Luther Riddle and Virgie Nell Riddle. Archie was a veteran of the Vietnam War in the United States Army where he received a Purple Heart and Bronze Medal, along with many other service awards. He worked for Firestone, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of South New Hope Assembly of God where he served in the capacity of Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, and Song Service Leader. He was an avid bass and crappie fisherman, spending countless hours on the water. Archie was also a devoted Waffle House breakfast regular for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lawanna Fowler; grandson, Shawn Wilson Tucker and a nephew, Troy Lee Fowler.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Riddle; three children, Ricky Riddle and wife Tammy, David Tucker and wife Rachel, and Charlie Tucker, Ashleigh Tucker; seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn Riddle, Jacob Riddle, Adrean Goodman and husband Daniel, Caleb Tucker, Autumn Reynolds and husband Tyler, Hayden Tucker, and Brandon Tucker and wife Julianna; eleven great-grandchildren, Daniel, Logan, Harley, Isabell, Hunter, Levi, Wyatt, Tate, Casey, Shawn and Marshal.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2026, at South New Hope Church with Rev. Norman Chenowith officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Tucker, Jacob Riddle, Hayden Tucker, Brandon Tucker, Daniel Goodman, and Tyler Reynolds.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Holland, Donny Coffman, Dr. Matthew Self, and the men of South New Hope Assembly of God.
