Arless Don Hood age 73 of Havana passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at his home.

He was born May 23, 1942 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Arless Winford & Lillian Juanita Garner Hood. He was a member of the WYC Church of Christ, National Guard Veteran and he was retired from Firestone. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years Phyllis Hood; daughters & sons-in-law, Alicia & Leonard James of Havana; Ashley & Brian Lane of Pottsville; brothers & sister-in-law, Joe Dean & JoAnn Hood; sister & brother-in-law, Emma & Roger Turley all of Havana; grandchildren, McKenna & Kamden James of Havana; Kade & Karsyn Lane of Pottsville; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family member and friends.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the WYC Church of Christ with Bro John McCourt officiating.
