Arless Hood Arless Winford Hood age 92 of Havana died Friday, March 9, 2012 at Mitchells Nursing Home in Danville. He was born November 25, 1919 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas to the late Rube and Alice Henry Hood. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Hood, mother Alice Henry Hood, parents Rube and Laura Hood,and three sisters. Survivors include three children Arless Don Hood and wife Phyllis, Joe Dean Hood and wife Jo Ann and Emma Turley and husband Roger all of Havana; eight grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 at Moore's Chapel with Owen Yandell officiating. Burial was at Moore's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers included Leonard James, Brian Lane, Robby Hood, Ronnie Turley, Tracy Turley, and Jason Turley. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
