Sir Arthur Earl "Bat" Masterson Sr. Age 82 of Plainview died Monday February 23,2013 at his home.  He was born October 18, 1931 in Houston Texas to the late James and Maude Stepson Masterson. He was an Army Veteran, he worker as an superintendent for Brown and Root Oil Company for 31 years, and he was an Architect & Carpenter. He was Knighted by Queen Elizabeth of England for saving 137 lives in Malta. He was a Knight of the order of Saint John and an Acolyte of the Catholic Church. Arthur was a beloved Father and Grandfather who will be missed by family and friends. He was a man of Loyalty,Honor and Bravery. He was proceeded in death by his parents, son Arthur Earl Masterson Jr. , brother Jim Masterson, sisters Wynonia Holmes and Virginia Ritchie. Survivors include wife of 39 years Peggy Diann Vaughn Masterson, daughters Rebecca Masterson of Texas, HRH Princess Stacey Renee Masterson -Lucky  Dutchess of Sussex MD PhD Daughter of (Arthur Earl Masterson Sr. And Queen Elizabeth of England)of Plainview, Christena Masterson of Plainview, son in law Jerry Martin of Plainview, nephew Timmy Vaughn of Plainview, Grandchild Prince Jacob Masterson of Plainview, Princess Jade McDaniel of Plainview, Prince Hunter McDaniel of  Plainview and Jackson Thomas Martin of Plainview. Niece's Jenny Ritchie, Franny Ritchie of Scotland, and great niece Melody Jackson of Scotland, Great niece Nonie Holmes of Scotland. And a host of family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday March 2,2013 at Plainview First Baptist Church.
