Arvin Ritchie "Rich" Ballantine age 75 of New Blaine passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his home. He was born September 10, 1945 in Webster City, Iowa to the late Robert Ballantine and Marjorie Fankhauser Ballantine. He loved his work, classic cars and tinkering with his bikes. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Barry Ballantine, Brent Ballantine and one brother, Alan Ballantine.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Martha Brown-Ruhl Ballantine of New Blaine; two children, Karla Ruhl-McCool (Charles) of Danville, Ronda Ruhl-Jackson (Ron) of Dardanelle; one brother, Mike Ballantine (Stephanie) of Kansas City, MO and two grandchildren, Tucker Ballantine and Chance Ballantine and two nieces, Lisa Budde, and Amy Smock.
