Atha Lee Woodard age 79 of Danville passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville. Atha was born December 30, 1934 in Olio Arkansas to the late Victor Lee & Nomer Lee Hunt Owens. She was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Woodard; son, Johnny Woodard; brothers, Leon and Donald Lee Owens; sister, Margie Jones, and Marcel Black. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Stanley & Faye Woodard of Dardanelle; Jimmy & Ann Woodard of Atlanta Georgia; Ronnie Woodard of Danville; daughters & sons-in-law, Carolyn & Ron Cornett of Collinsville, OK; Patty & Tommy Frank of Greenwood; sister & brother-in-law, Sue & Archie Wagner of Texarkana; brother William Owens of Waldron; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev John McCourt officiating. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.
