Aubrey Leigh Broberg Aubrey Leigh Broberg, age 85, of Dardanelle, died Thursday, December 15, 2011, at her home. Born September 25, 1926, in Dardanelle, she was the daughter of the late Auburn and Allie Apple McMinn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Broberg; a daughter, Catherine Lewis; and a sister, Joann Ellis. After graduating from Dardanelle High School, Leigh attended nursing school in Russellville and Hot Springs and worked as a pediatric nurse for many years. She lived in California and Hawaii before returning to Dardanelle. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle and loved playing cards with her friends at the Dardanelle Senior Activity Center. Survivors include her son-in-law, Michael Lewis and wife Diana of Dardanelle; two grandsons, Steven Lewis and wife Laura of Little Rock, and Michael Lewis and partner Howard Homer of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two great granddaughters, Samantha Lewis and Margaret Lewis, both of Little Rock; and many nieces, nephews and other friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00P.M., Monday, December 19, 2011 at Louvenia Cemetery in Dardanelle with Pastor Jim Benfer officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the funeral home.
