Obituary

Audna "Sue" Taylor age 87 of Belleville passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville.

Sue was born November 4, 1934 in Idabel Oklahoma to the late Herbert & Magalene Maddux Vickers. She went to St. Gregory's College in Shawnee, Oklahoma, worked for a short time as a telephone operator in Hobbs, New Mexico and while working for Braniff Airlines in Dallas, Texas met the love of her life Delvis "Big Boy" Taylor. After getting married, she became a mother and was a homemaker the rest of her life. She enjoyed reading, working/planting flowers (roses were her favorites) and she was a wonderful cook. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and loved making chocolate chip cookies and brownies with them. Her favorite snack was ice cream. She was a Sunday School teacher at Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Big Boy Taylor; sister, Annette (J.R.) Bussard; brothers James (Barbara) Vickers and Roger Vickers.

Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, David & Linda Taylor; daughter & son-in-law, Amy & David Barnhouse all of Belleville; grandchildren, Justin & Alicia Taylor of Russellville; Dillon & Mikayla Barnhouse of El Dorado; Katie & Cole Francis of Atkins; Matthew & Lisa Carter of Belleville; Andi & Cody Parsons of Belleville; Becca Carter & Bryan Gomez of Belleville; Ari Carter of Belleville; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Alex, Ellie, Bella, Hunter, Jeb, Jacob, Riley, Noah, Kinsley, Gracelynn, Emily, Celyn and Tannen and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Dickey officiating. Family visitation to immediately follow the service.
