Barbara Peggy Allen age 81 of Danville passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 21, 1937 in Needmore, Arkansas to the late Leonard & Fatha Luttrell Alexander Sr. She was a mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Allen; parents; infant son, Edward Allen; son, Bobby Dale Allen; brothers, Bill Alexander, Leonard Alexander Jr; sister, Shirley Mizell; and great-granddaughter, Reagan Harlow Applegate.

Survivors include her sons, Johnny Allen of Conway; Mike Allen of Danville; grandchildren, Michele Allen; Krystal Warren, and Laura Allen; great-granddaughter, Aubree N. Warren; and daughter & son-in-law, Gerald & Sandy Purser of Danville.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Allen, Stanley Allen, Jerry Allen, Phillip Alexander, Tony Alexander, Jimmy Crow, Gerald Purser, Beverly & Stanley Wagner.

Memorial service at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Casa First Baptist Church with Bobby Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Needmore Cemetery.
