Barbara Melton Lambert 70 of New Blaine found eternal peace on June 1st at St Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock Arkansas Barbara was a stay at home mother, hair dresser, and former employee of the Plainview Rover school district she was a graduate of Fourche Valley High school. She was a friend to everyone she met, loved to dance, sing and play with her grandchildren. Her motto in life was to Live, Love, and Laugh. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Arley and Jewel Melton, her brother Bobby Melton and her husband Vernon E. (Sonny) Lambert. She is survived by her children Brian Lambert of Fayetteville, William Lambert of Bella Vista and Cheryl Dee Lambert of New Blaine, her sister Nina Lolfland of New Blaine and seven grandchildren, and several nephews & nieces. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Mt Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
