Barbara Scott, age 78 of Petit Jean Mountain passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at her home. She was born September 11, 1946 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Cecil Neuhart and Ophelia Douglas Neuhart. She was a member of the New Life Church in Conway and the First Baptist on Petit Jean Mountain. Barbara graduated from Charleston High School in 1964 as Valedictorian and she lived on Petit Jean since 1974 and worked as an administrative assistant for Winrock International for over 20 years. She was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club (EH)-Petit Jean and past president for multiple years.

Survivors include her husband of almost 60 years, Jerry Scott; two children, Shanda Scott Sutton (Coby), Stacy Scott; grandchildren, Cheyenne Scott Romilly, Sean Scott, Rhianna Scott, Cara Sutton Brown, Wesley Sutton and great grandchildren, Zena Brown, Hadleigh Brown and Stella Brown.
