Barbara Marie Tarkington, 72 of Dardanelle, Arkansas, went to her Heavenly home on May 17, 2021. She was born April 28, 1949 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to William Seagraves and Lula Mae McNeese Seagraves. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Steve Seagraves and a grandson, Brandon Patton. She was a loving wife, mother, and the best grammy ever. She had the sweetest heart and she always wore a smile even on her sickest days through her long battle with cancer. She never complained and her faith never waivered. We have peace knowing she is celebrating pain free with her Lord, whom she loved with her whole heart.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Tarkington; her children, and her step children, Debbie Moats (David), Tommy Yates (Annette), Edgar Yates (Lana), Tim Tarkington (Christy), Sherri Tarkington Haley (Donnie); sisters, Rose Young, Ruby Maggard (Bob), Pat Southard (Danny); brother, James Seagraves (Cmom-OK); ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, you may donate in her memory to the Arkansas Hospice House of Russellville. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Home Church in Dardanelle.
