Barbara Louise Rozier Summers Tisdale November 24,1938-July 14, 2019
Born on November 24, 1938 to Mildred Louise Lott Rozier and Vernard Alexander Rozier in Ferriday, LA. She married her first husband James Carey Summers on December 20, 1957.

On Sunday morning July 14, 2019, Barbara received a call from our Lord and Savior that she couldn't refuse. A calling to reunite with her family and friends that passed before her. She's no longer in pain and her heart is healed.

Barbara married James Carey Summers on December 20, 1957 and they had three children, Penny, Jamee and Jay. On their tenth anniversary, James died suddenly of a heart attack on December 20, 1967.

Barbara remarried on January 10, 1969 to John Ridgeway Tisdale who had three children of his own, Sharon, Debra and Talbert. They became the "Brady Bunch".
December 20, 1997, 30 years to the day of losing her first husband, James, she lost John in an automobile accident.

After John's passing she moved to Russellville, AR in 2004.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Vernard Rozier and Mildred Rozier, two husbands, James Summers and John Tisdale, a sister Pam McKinney.
She leaves behind 6 children, Penny Calvert of Russellville, AR, Jamee Bean Schilling (Jeff) of Bossier, LA, John-Jay Summers (Barbara) of White Hall, AR, Sharon Tisdale Bearden of Pine Bluff, AR, Debra Tisdale Sanders of Pine Bluff, AR, Talbert Tisdale (Cathy) of Hot Springs, AR.

12 grandchildren, Zach Calvert (Brittany), Brock Calvert all from Russellville. Tiffany Short (Travis) from Bossier, LA. Barbara Chadwick (Hank) from Cabot, AR, Matthew Summers (Faithe) from White Hall, Dustin Summers (Maggie) from White Hall, AR. Dean Bearden (Leslie) from Sheridan, AR, Jessica Stivers from Bradford, AR. Jennifer Conners from Pine Bluff, AR, Kelly Hill (Bo) from White Hall, AR. John Tisdale from Haile, LA, and Jason Tisdale from Florida. 20 Great grandchildren and 5 Great great grandchildren.

Barbara requested no funeral but the family will be receiving friends and family Saturday July 20, 2019 at 1pm-3pm at White Hall United Methodist Church, 301 Church Street, White Hall, AR 71602

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202
