Beatrice Horn, 88 of Danville passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013. She was a resident of Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. She was born February 24, 1925 in Olio, Arkansas to the late Elder George Dennis and Iva Parker Owens. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Calvin R. Horn, grandson, Chris McGeath, two brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Clegg of Ft. Smith, AR; sons and daughter-in-law, J.W. Horn of Danville, Dennis and Nancy Horn of Danville; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers include Odis Grimes, Joseph Horn, Marcus Stout, Dr. John Horn, Lewis Horn, and Opal Don Horn. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Horn and Will Woods. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday at Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Dennis Horn officiating. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
