Beda Sue Hogue age 93 of Gravelly passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at her home.

She was born February 27, 1928 in Bluffton, Arkansas to the late Ira Pat & Lessie Mary Poda Rhoades. Beda Sue was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, she was the Home Economic teacher for 35 years at the Fouche Valley High School, and a member of the Eastern Star from March 1974 to present (47 years).

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Franklin Hogue; brother, Gordon Rhoades.

Survivors include her son Billy Pat Hogue; grandchildren, Tina Marie Hogue and William Joel Hogue; great-grandchildren, Pamela Louann Hogue, Heather Ann Hogue and Zoe Marie Hogue; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Gravelly Methodist Church with Bro. Lacey Minnie officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the service at the church. Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Gravelly.

Pallbearers include Joey Hogue, Alex Hedgpeth, Bobby Strain, Rod Rupe, Dennis Neighbors, and Jerry Garrett.
