Ben Lewis Garrison, age 84 of Delaware, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born June 24, 1938 in Delaware, Arkansas to the late Claude Floyd Garrison and Lela Irene Wurst Garrison. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Paris and he loved to hunt, fish and work in his garden. Ben was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Linda Kay Parker; brothers, Thurman Garrison, Larry Garrison and a sister, Louise Fitzpatrick.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shari Garrison of Delaware; two children, Judy Valenti of Delaware, Mark Garrison of Delaware; his siblings, Donald Garrison (Gloria) of Ft. Stockton, Texas, Robert Garrison (Manuala) of Texas, Carolyn Parker (Billy Jack) of New Blaine, Sue Heath of Delaware, Debbie Roberts of Dover, Claude Garrison Jr. of Delaware; grandchildren, Corby Wood, Ashley Wewers, Forrest Lee Wood and great grandchildren, Hudson Wood, Layla Wewers, Carlee Wood, Cash Wood, Emmett Wood and Hayes Wood.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Dardanelle First Assembly of God Church with Jackie Pledger officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Garrison Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Jack Parker, Brad Parker, Ben Parker, Corby Wood, Forrest Lee Wood and Josh Wewers.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Gary Wood.
