Benny Leodis "Odie" Bly, 75, passed away at his home in Birta, AR. June 27, 2023. He was born to the late T.H. and Jessie Clarice Bly. (Keys) in Birta, AR.

Odie loved, lived, and worked for his family.  He was regarded as one of the best welders around as part of "The Bly Brothers".  He was a true cattleman and loved farming along side his cherished wife, Pat. He loved wood-working, reading, horses and hunting. Odie enjoyed time with his farming friends and helping people. He was a member of the American Angus Association and a long side his wife had proudly been a poultry producer for Wayne Farms for 43 years. He was a loving father and husband. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard, Dempsey, and D. Bly; sisters Patricia, Judy Ann Bly, and Gale Williams; sons, Benjamin Bly and Mark Music and two grandsons, Codie Steele and Josh Rager.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Pat and three daughters, Tina Bly Steele (Bryan) of Casa, Lisa Bly of Birta; and Veronica Bly Stalnaker (Jeff) of Birta, twin sister Jenny Leola Rose (Charles) of Centerville along with numerous cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

It was Odie's wishes to not to have a funeral or memorial. The family will have a gathering at the farm at a later date, to be announced.
