Obituary

Bessie Lea Taylor May age 91 of Belleville passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at Mitchell's Nursing Home.

Bessie was born December 26, 1927 in Harkeys Valley, Arkansas to the late Delbert & Vada Harkey Taylor. She attended Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She was a member Spring Creek E-H Club for 69 years and the Yell County Rodeo and Riding Club. She was retired from Wayne Farms. Bessie loved her family, gardening, and her flowers. Preceded in death by her husband, Grady May; grandson, Jeremy May and great-grandson, Drew Bottoms; brothers, Oathes Taylor and Delvis "Big Boy" Taylor; sister, Mary Hoover and son-in-law Hayden Mobley.

Survivors include her children, Peggy Mobley of Havana; Sandy & Melvin Bottoms of Belleville; Rickey May of Belleville; grandchildren, Kerry Bottoms (Patti) of Oppelo; Greg Bottoms (Amber) of Belleville; Mitch Mobley (Kiley) of Waveland; Lyndsey Harris (Jordan) of Danville; great-grandchildren, Cole, Tripp, Jalynn, Madeline, Madison, Allie, Drifton, Hayden and Tucker; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, February 6, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery.
