Bettie Lou Bearden Hodges was born July 15, 1929 and entered Heaven on April 28, 2024. She was born in Ladonia, Texas to Alvin Lee and Bettie Marie Bearden. She graduated as salutatorian from Fountain Lake High School and worked for Russellville Eye Clinic before retiring. Bettie enjoyed spending time with her family most of all, but she also loved reading, painting, crafting and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Ailene Cook, Clifton Bearden, Melba Ward, Bobby Bearden, and Mickey Bearden.

She is survived by her sons Brent Bennett (Marie) of Fayetteville, Gary Bennett of Hot Springs, and Jim Hodges (Lynn) of Russellville. Her grandchildren Julia Foster (Austin) of Star City, Jake Hodges (Hannah Smith) of Russellville, and Gabe Hodges of Russellville. And one great grandson Greyson Foster. The family is extremely grateful to Hospice, and for her special aide, Danielle. A celebration of Bettie's life will be planned at a later date. Her resting place will be in Center Hills Cemetery in Hot Springs
