Betty Leon Coffey, age 81 of Dardanelle, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, February 15, 2018. She was born November 4, 1936 at Dardanelle to the late Burl and Minnie Lee Carrigan Judkins. She attended the Faith Church in Dardanelle, but had been a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dardanelle since she was 13 years old. She was a Librarian at the Dardanelle Regional Library for 39 years, worked the Bookmobile for 4 counties, and in the summer months especially loved hosting Childrens' Story Hour. She touched many lives both young and old with her kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, James Coffey; two stepsons, James L. Coffey Jr., Timothy Lee Coffey; one sister, Dora Gunter and husband Doyle; one brother, John Judkins and wife Linda; one step grandson, James L. Coffey III and two step great grandchildren, Zane Coffey and Logan Coffey, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Saturday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Bud Gunter, Benjamin Gunter, Liam Gunter, Andy Judkins, Johnny Judkins, Gaige Judkins, Mike Oliver, and Austin Young.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Graduating Class of 1955.
