Betty Jean Horton, age 85 of Russellville, AR passed away May 21, 2024 at Stella Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 1, 1939 to the late Winfred Jones and Violet Swope. Betty Jean was of the Baptist faith. She loved gardening, fishing, dogs, Vegas and going to the casino. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ray Horton.

Survivors  include her three children Thomas Michael Horton (Helen), Randy Horton (Vickie) and Jennifer Steele (Forrest); brothers Bobby Jones of Dover and Butch Jones of Russellville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and her lifelong friend Marvilene Baker.

A family held memorial service will be held at a later date.
