Betty Sue McKinley age 75 of Lawrence, Kansas died Saturday, September 30, 2017, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born Nov. 19, 1941, in Pope County, Arkansas, the daughter of Carl L. and Mammie Carlisle Freeman. She graduated from high school, and was an owner/operator of daycare facilities in Rogers, Ark. and Lawrence for many years.

She married James A. McKinley on Mar. 22, 1975, in Russellville. He survives of the home. Other survivors include a daughter, Debbie Moudy and husband Jimmy, Dardanelle, Ark.; a son, Kevin McKinley and wife Rachael, Navarre, Fla.; a sister, Ruby Braudrick, Russellville; a brother, Eutah Freeman, Pottsville, Ark.; a sister in law, Carolyn Lane and husband Mike, Georgetown, Tex.; four grandchildren, Misty Dickson (Thomas), Sean Moudy (Holly), Conor McKinley, and Jaret McKinley; and five great grandchildren, Ellijah and James Moudy, Ryen Olivia, and Londan and Blakeley Dickson.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 4:00P.M., Friday, October 6, 2017 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Bettys name to the charity of the donors choice.
