Betty Lou Roberson age 94 of Rover passed away Friday, September 25, 2026 at Mitchells Nursing Home.

Betty was born January 14, 1932 in Forester, Arkansas to the late William Pierce & Verna Mae Brewer Taylor. Daughter of a logger. She retired after 30 years from the Yell County Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billie Jean Roberson, second husband, J.L. Covey; infant son, Donnie Gene Roberson, siblings, Bill Taylor, Fred Taylor, Ruby Blackman, Patsy Moore, Helen Edmondson, Troy Taylor, and Ruth Jacobs, son-in-law, Jerry Heath, great-grandsons, Neal Anderson and Jacob, Samuel, and Lucas Smith

Survivors include her children, Bo Roberson, Cathy Heath, and Gary & Brigitte Roberson; grandchildren, Janet Hosman, Billie Taylor, Bobbie Alfonzo, Terry Jean Roberson, Tanya Jones and Shane Morris, great-grandchildren, Jett Smith, Brett Fowler, Breanna Martin, Bradley Fowler, Blaklyn Brake, Dustin Roberson, A.J. Fowler, Ashten McCain, Kinleith Morris, and Bethany Alfonzo, brother-in-law, Aubrey Blackman great-great-grandchildren, Braxton Roberson, Randy Andeson Loretta, Sara, and Eric, and 19 great-great-great-grandchildren

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Hunt Chapel Cemetery in Rover.

Pallbearers include Bill Frost, Lavan Cody, Randy Blackman, Shane Morris, Justin Cody and Roy Hodge.

Honorary pallbearers include John McKinnon, Scottie Hosman, Rusty Welker.
