Betty Sist Betty Jane Sist age 85 of Russellville left this earth on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Baptist Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 12, 1927 at Hammond, Indiana to the late Henry and Freda Root Carter. She loved fishing, sewing, needle pointing, baking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years; two sons; one daughter; one brother; one sister; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. Survivors include one son, Jerry Myers and wife of Dover; three brothers; two sisters; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, August 9, 2013 at Cornwell Chapel with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Burial will be in Booher Cemetery in Russellville. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Myers, Joshua Myers, Brandon Hampton, Jason Lucker, Kyle Hampton, Cody Hampton.
