Obituary

Betty Ann Sutterfield age 81 of Dardanelle passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born November 6, 1938 in Gravelly, Arkansas to the late Virgle Richard Clinton James and Ellen Josephine Black James. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints in Danville and was an employee of the Dardanelle Hospital for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Joe Stokes Sr.; two grandsons, Jared Stokes, Logan Stokes and one sister, Sue Willis.

Survivors include five children, Robby Stokes (Tanya), Jeff Stokes (Julie), Jim Stokes (Vicki), Bobby Joe Stokes (Pam), David Sutterfield Jr. (Judy); two brothers, Clinton James (Sharon), Virgle James; twenty grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and five on the way.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Russellville. Burial will be held at the Little Rock National Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
