Obituary

Betty A White passed away in San Antonio on Thursday, November 21, 2024.  She was born in San Diego, California on August 12, 1950 to John and Jewell (Brandon) Foshee.

Betty is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Edward White of Pleasanton, Texas, sons, Alan White of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Gary White and wife Michelle, grandson, Aden White, all of Riverview,

Florida brother-in-law, Ray Rios of The Dalles, Oregon, brothers and sisters, Lee Cochran and husband Dale of Ft Smith, Arkansas, Bonnie Stacy and husband Eddie of Chugiak, Alaska, John Foshee of Red Banks, Mississippi, and David Foshee of Fort Smith, Arkansas, uncle Franklin Foshee of Conway, Arkansas, aunt, Bonnie Brown of Ft.Worth, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Lila Rios, and sister-in-law, Linda Foshee.

Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints Psalms 1:16:15 She adorned herself with the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit which is in the sight of God of great price 1 Peter 3:4

She adorned herself with good works I Tim 2:9-10

She read the Bible everyday and tried to follow it. She cherished family and friends. She was a excellent seamstress even making Edward's pants and shirts. She enjoyed cooking – her fruit cakes (thanks to Lou Mims) were desired worldwide. She loved to do crocheting and jigsaw puzzles.

Proverbs 31:10-12, 30-31 A wife of noble character who can find. She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.

In lieu of flowers, plant a flower in your yard and think of Betty when it blooms.

Funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Havana City Hall. Burial will be in Havana Cemetery.
