Bettye Jane Prochazka McEntyre

Bettye Jane McEntyre age 91 of Dardanelle, went to be with her husband, Thomas, in their heavenly home Saturday Nov 6, 2021.  Born to James and Elsie Prochazka August 28, 1930, she was the youngest of seven children.  Her four sisters, Else Dortch, Rose Murphy, Blanche Miller, Marie Davis, brothers Frank and Jim Prochazka all proceeded her in death.

Bettye is survived by her two sons Doyle (Connie) McEntyre and Mike (Teresa) McEntyre of Dardanelle, sister-in-law Wanda McEntyre of Clarksville, four grandsons Chris, Joel, Sam and Stewart McEntyre and step grandson Brent Wood, step granddaughter Stacy (Paul) Hart, step grandson Steve (Melissa) Cossey and step grandaughter Keri Findley.  Fifteen great grandchildren, Ashton, Alyssa, Chayce, Luke, Knox, Makenna, Sammy, Brady and Kinley McEntyre, Avery, Morgan and Spencer Hart, Jacob and Kaylee Cossey and Rijks Findley.

Bettye was a homemaker and very supportive of her sons and grandsons, attending all sports and other events she could that they were involved in, she also enjoyed gardening, coin, stamp and doll collecting, and she was a big Razorback fan

Bettye accepted Christ and baptized at an early age and was a member of The First Baptist Church in Dardanelle.  She married the love of her life Thomas (Tmac) Jan 21,1948, and she will be buried beside him in Brearley Cemetery.  She will be carried to her final resting place by her four grandsons Chris, Joel, Sam, Stewart and two of her great grandsons, Brady and Chayce McEntyre.

Visitation will be from Wednesday 4:30 to 6:30 pm Nov. 10 with funeral services Thursday Nov. 11 at 10:00 am at Cornwell Chapel with Pastor Carl Fair officiating.
