Billy Bob "Bill" Pitts, age 86 of Dardanelle, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born August 25, 1938 in Harkey Valley, Arkansas to the late Fred James Pitts and Vera Celesta Tucker Pitts. Bill was a member and a Deacon of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Lynn Pitts; a sister, Geraldine Duke; half sisters, Rulene Snyder, Emma Jean Ward and a half brother, Vivan Adkison.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Linda Pitts; two children, Carla and Allan Kirkland, Jason and Addy Pitts; brother-in-law, Danny and Cindy Dane; sisters-in-law, Wanda Luningham, Treva and Tommy Roberds, Sherry Laffoon; five grandchildren, Ryan and Kailey Kirkland, Karlee and Zach Knight, Reagan Ramsey, Lucy Pitts, Max Pitts; love adopted daughter, Sommer McCutcheon, three great grandchildren, Everett, Mildred and Porter Kirkland, and many nieces and nephews.

Bill held his relationship with Christ and his family above all things. He was a co-owner of Sav-A-Sum grocery store for 27 years. After retirement he enjoyed working on his farm, checking on his cows, and tending to his garden with his wife and family. He could always be found at the ball fields watching his grandkids and great grandkids play the sports they love.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Pelt, J.L.  Martin, Tommy Roberds, Jerry Don Duke, Scott Roberds, Todd Luningham, Eric Laffoon, and John Laffoon.
