Obituary

Bill Fuller Bill Weldon Fuller age 85 of Russellville died on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at St. Vincent Health Care System. He was born November 13, 1926 at Sayre, Ok to W.W. "Punny" Fuller and Greta Giffin Fuller. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and flying radio controlled model airplanes. He graduated from Sayre, Oklahoma High School in 1944, Spartan College of Aeronautical Engineering, Tulsa, OK in 1949 and Archer's Flying School in Sayre, OK. He served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Ordinance man 3/C on Active duty from 1944 to 1946 and inactive reserves from 1946 to 1950. He retired from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company in Liberal, KS in 1984 as superintendent of well testing. After retirement he worked as a volunteer in the restoration department of the Mid-America Air Museum. He was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church, River Valley R.C. Club of Russellville and the Masonic Lodge of Sayre, OK. He was a past member of the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences, Society of Petroleum Engineers and International Oil Scouts Association. Survivors include his wife, Betty Fuller of Russellville; a brother, Robert R. Fuller of Plattsburg, NY; four stepchildren; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 6:00P.M., Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Central Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held Friday 5:30P.M. to 6:00P.M. at the church prior to the service.
