Billy Charles Hancock went to the Father on December 15, 2018.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Ann Hancock, their four children and spouses; Cindy Kuonen (Bobby), William Hancock (Teresa), Russ Hancock (Diane), and Brooke Yeaman (Tim), his brother Bob Hancock and eight grandchildren, Benjy Kuonen, Abby Broadway, Dr. Caleb Hancock, Dr. Ethan Hancock, Seth Hancock, Chris Hancock, Nick Hancock and Riley Matheny.

His parents, Riley and Amy Lee Hancock of Danville, preceded him in death.

Billy Charles Hancock was born on January 22, 1933 at Riley Creek, Arkansas to Riley and Amy Lee Hancock. He graduated Danville High School with honors and is a 1955 graduate of the University of Arkansas. Bill married his high school sweetheart, Betty Ann Warren in 1953.

He is a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War Era and honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant in 1961. Bill retired in 1993 after thirty-seven years with the J.C. Penney Company.

He was a loving husband and father, trusted friend, and spiritual leader. He was a member of the Church of Christ serving in the roles of deacon and elder for over thirty years.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Hancock Education Fund, Southern Christian Children's Home, Morrilton Arkansas. The funds will support the educational needs of high school graduates pursuing an associate degree, bachelor's degree, or vocational certificate in the state of Arkansas.
