Billy Carl Holmes, age 86, of Casa went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 14, 2024. He was born August 30, 1938 to the late Daniel Joshua Holmes and Lola (Alexander) Holmes. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother J.D. Holmes, and wife Geneva (Smith) Holmes.

Survivors include his son Coy Holmes; daughter Teresa (Randy) Bewley; son Billy D. (Janey) Holmes; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Bill was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was a retired truck driver and farmer. During his lifetime, he traveled to and lived in many places but home was always the family farmland in Rosecreek.

Gone from us for a time, but not forgotten. Rest in peace, until we meet again.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to services. Burial will be in Needmore Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Travis Bewley, Clay Bewley, Josh Holmes, Keith Waters, Corey Mellon, and Rob Elder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Bewley and Kevin Irwin.
