Billy Seth Lofland Jr. age 68 of Briggsville passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

Billy was born July 12, 1955 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Billy Seth & Nina Dell Melton Lofland. He was a member of the Bluffton Methodist Church. He co-owned and operated the sawmill, L&S Lumber Co. Inc, with Rick Sherrill longtime friend and partner.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debra; son & daughter-in-law, Jacob & Wintney Lofland; sister, Becky & Brody Ramey; granddaughter, Anny Kay Lofland; nephew, Jesse & Morgan Yates; nieces, Raven Ramey, Caitlin & Brandon Green; great-nephews and nieces, Colbie and Liam Green; and Wacey Ramey; along with the many Valley and Sawmill friends who became his family.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, July 8, 2024 at the Bluffton Cemetery with Pastor Dan Osolin officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, July 7, at the Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville.

Pallbearers include Jake Henry, Hunter Henry, Billy-Wayne Hill, Luke Jones, Jeremy Jones, and James Walker.
