Bob Bata

Bobby Lee Bata, age 84 of Dardanelle, died Sunday, January 21, 2018. He was born February 24, 1933 in Little Rock to Mabel Mae Bata. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the VFW, a 32nd Degree Mason with the Bright Star Masonic Lodge and a member of the "morning coffee club." He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school. He was also the clock operator for the Dardanelle Sand Lizards Football Team for the past 45 years.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Willeen Stewart Bata of Dardanelle; one daughter, Cindy Lou Bata Brumley and husband Michael of Garland, Texas; sons, Steven Hamilton Bata and wife Bonnie of Harper's Ferry, West Virginia, David Lee Bata and wife Lisa of Clarksville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Stacey Lynn Grimes, Stephanie Nicole Ferrel, Scott Hamilton Bata, Kyle Robert Bata.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Dardanelle with Bro. Mark Gower officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 7:00P.M. to 8:30P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Lee Witt, Len Cotton, Aaron Hoffman, Matt Robinson, Benny Robinson and Montie Sims.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Dardanelle VFW and his Sunday School Class.
