Bobby Joe Epperson age 83 of Hector, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born June 26, 1941 in London, Arkansas to the late Homer Epperson and Bessie Shinn Epperson. He loved to fish, hunt, work on things and gardening. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Virginia Moore, Betty Hospkins, Emma Lou Hughes and Carolyn Moore.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Epperson; four children, Scotty Thomas, Sherry Thomas, Beverly Lunn, T.J. Thomas (Jennifer); grandchildren, Jeff Samson (Kimberly), Joshua Samson (Briana), Jacob Samson, Joseph Thomas, Tommy Thomas, Nathan Thomas (Kristal), Trisha Thomas, Anthony Thomas (Ruffa), Thomas Cunningham (Lauren), Brandy Chronister (Sara) and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family.
