Bobby Fondren Sr., age 78, passed away March 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, grease-stained hands, and a heart full of love for his family and friends.

Bobby's passion for heavy machinery and dump trucks was unmatched—if it had wheels and a motor, he was either driving it, fixing it, or admiring it. His life was built around the simple joys of turning wrenches, cracking a Busch Light beer after a long day's work, and sharing stories with those he loved.

He is survived by his three children, Bobby Fondren Jr., Cindy (Lyndell) Foster, and Tony (Claudia) Fondren, as well as his beloved grandchildren: Tiffany (Brian) Combs, Nicky (Nate) Lapree, Bobby Fondren III (Brooke), Markie (Forest) Stille, JR. Foster (Sarah), and T.J. (Rebecca) Fondren, Kaycee, Samantha and Caleb; sister, Desta; fourteen great grandkids and a special buddy, Ronnie. Each of them carries a piece of his legacy—whether it's his love for cars, his hardworking spirit, or the ability to enjoy the little things in life.

Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mavis Fondren; his daughter-in-law, Stephanie Fondren; his granddaughter, Brooklyn Fondren; his siblings, Jay, Donnie, Boyd, Bois, Carl Ray, Jean and Leroy. Though they are gone, their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved them.

Though his time here has come to an end, his spirit will forever rumble on like the engines he adored. May the roads be wide, the engines loud, and the beer always cold.
