Bobby E. Lyons, age 78, of Dardanelle, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. He was born November 25, 1942 in Cotton Town, Arkansas, to the late Roscoe and Vernice Fink Lyons.  Bobby was the Street Department Supervisor and Personnel Director for the City of Dardanelle for 23 years, and served as Yell County Justice of the Peace for District 10 from 2002 to 2006. He is a member of the Slaty Crossing Freewill Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, George Burton Lyons, of Morrilton, AR.

Survivors include his wife and companion, Donna Honeycutt Lyons, his son, Andrew Roscoe Lyons, and his daughter, Deborah Lyons Diaz (Alberto); four grandchildren, Stephanie Hodgins, Lauren Shemwell, Meghan Moore and Logan Lyons; two great-granddaughters, Kate Hodgins and Riley Hodgins.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00A.M. Monday, May 10, 2021, at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel, in Dardanelle with Bro. Paul Seay officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:00AM to 10:00AM prior to the service.  Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Carl Cross, Willy Lawhon, Kendall Roland, Steven Troyke, Larry Emberson and Dan Lovelace. Honorary Pallbearers include all City of Dardanelle employees.
