Bob Manson age 81 of Dardanelle passed away Friday, September 18, 2021 Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Manson and Marie Manson and his siblings, Robert F. Manson Jr. and Betty Manson Wheeler.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Frances (Toni) Manson; his children, Dee Manson Sellers of Dardanelle, Shelley Manson Wheeler and her husband Mike Wheeler of Russellville and two grandchildren, Danielle Sellers and Jimmy Sellers. Bob had a great grandson he adored, Sur Sellers. Sur sure loved his papa.

Bob had a full life. As a young man he raced motorcycles and later drove Corvettes in the Hot Rod Power Tour with his good friend Danny Tucker. Bob founded Old Post BBQ in Russellville with Bill Bright in 1979. He and Toni managed the restaurant and sold it in 2012.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
