Bonnie Belle George passed away October 27, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born September 21, 1938 in Belleville, Arkansas to William Ervin George and Theora Mae Waters George. Bonnie grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1956. Following graduation she moved with her family to Houston, Texas. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 25 years. After retiring from SBC Bonnie moved from Houston to Rockdale, Texas to be near her sister, Jo Ann. While in Rockdale she worked at the library and volunteered with many organizations.

She loved reading and traveling. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bruce Neil George; her sister, Jo Ann Martin; her brother-in-law, Thomas E. Martin and a niece Tommie Neil Couch.

Survivors include two nieces, Judy Robertson of Conroe, Texas, Patty Golightly of Belleville, Arkansas; two cousins, Dona Findley of Ozark, Arkansas and Ona Rae Henderson and her husband Dennis of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a life long friend, Marcella Grimmett of Little Rock, Arkansas and two dear friends in Rockdale, Dora Casas and J.D. Morrison.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Lower Spring Creek Cemetery.
